A small step for humanity, a large one for little me...
Work is progressing slowly but steadily towards making this site the best of its kind on the Net. Well, at least I think we will be the best classical orchestra site in Japan in a not too distant future :-)
This is just the beginning!
As I move forward, I add bits and pieces here and there, make improvements, and sometimes I break things too. I just managed to mangle one of Rogers' blog postings in the process of upgrading the blog section. At the same stage, however, I added Robert's brand new blog, so now you have a place to talk to the Maestro of Tokyo
Sinfonia. He has one posting up already, so please feel free to comment!
If everything works as expected, we should now also be able to post to our blogs simply by sending a mail. This post, in fact, was sent from my computer by ordinary e-mail. A large step for me - I don't even know how it works! I know it's something digital.
Hopefully it should result in more postings from everyone on this site, including the wonderful young members of the orchestra, that will get their own blogs here soon!
(update: this mail blogging thing does not seem to work yet. I case of hubris on my part, perhaps...)
